“Around the World with the Harp”

Sunday, October 4th  3 p.m.

First Congregational Church, Morrisville

to benefit  the restoration of the stained glass windows.

Come experience the delicate, peaceful and magical qualities of the harp as we travel the world through the Celtic Isles, Europe, the Middle East and North and South America. 

I’ll share the songs and stories of the various lands as we journey through sound with my large lever harp and unique double strung harp. 

Classical, Celtic, Scandinavian, Latin, folk, pop and hymns will all be represented in this one hour concert.

Holiday Concerts with Mad River Chorale

Mad River Chorale will be presenting our Holiday Concerts

Friday evening December 19th at 7:30 p.m.

at the Waitsfield United Church on Route 100

and Sunday, December 21st at 4:30 p.m.

at the Warren United Church in Warren Village.

Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” will be featured along with harp

(Yours Truly will be singing : )


The program includes “Hope for Resolution” which is a beautiful juxtaposition of a 13th Century plainchant and a South African Zulu freedom song.


Spirituals, Holiday Songs and an audience caroling are all a part of this wonderful holiday expression of cultural diversity.

Dartmouth Glee Club, Sunday November 9

Come experience the Dartmouth Glee Club under the Directorship of Louis Burkot, Sunday, November 9th at 2 p.m. at Dartmouth College, Rollins Chapel.

This 40 – voiced choir, led by noted choral/orchestral conductor Louis Burkot, performs Fauré’s Requiem with chamber orchestra, harp and pipe organ; plus African American spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan; the short mass O Quam Gloriosum, by Renaissance composer Tomás Luis de Victoria; and selections from Mario Castelneuvo-Tedesco’s ravishingly beautiful 1951 Romancero Gitano, with classical guitarist John Muratore.

Gabriel Faure’s Requiem in D Minor has a purity, expressive and intimate sound that contrasts the dark, somber music that most requiems feature. Hope comfort and beauty is reflected in the music and what better instrument is associated with heaven the harp?

Harp Therapy Workshop- Saturday March 8

I will be presenting “Harp Therapy, A New Practice from an Age-old Tradition” on Saturday, March 8th at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Church, 137 Main Street, Montpelier.

I will share be sharing my journey in discovering harp therapy, telling of its rich history, explaining  the science behind it, and demonstrating from the harp itself.  Come hear the stories, experience the exquisite sound and relaxing presence of the harp, and learn how the harp is being used from calming patients before surgery, to alleviating pain, accessing memory and helping to transition from this life to the next.

Christmas Eve Services

On Christmas Eve, I will be playing at the Warren United Church of Christ at the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. services.  The afternoon service has a Native American theme and I will be playing American carols along with children drummers.  For the evening service I will be also be giving the prelude but will be accompanying a flutist as well.  Come and worship and join in with singing of our favorite Christmas carols.  All are welcome.

Jubal Song in Concert December 27

On Friday, December 27th Jubal Song will be performing a mix of holiday, seasonal, Celtic, and pop tunes.  Jubal Song consists of Judi on harp and vocals and Lausanne on fiddle, flute, psalter, mandolin and vocals.  Judi and Lausanne combine their folk instruments to mix the peace of the harp with the excitement of the fiddle, the call of the flute, and the sparkle of the mandolin bringing a wonderful eclectic sound.  7 o’clock in the St.  George’s Hall, Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe, VT.
